Wifi changed?
If you have changed your wifi or system has gone offline here is some useful information on how to get it back online.
Don’t worry - you will be still producing and exporting power if your system is on
If the inverter is disconnected from Wi-Fi:
Press the “Enter” button on the inverter display.
Navigate to SETUP Wi-Fi Access Point and enable it.
Use a phone or laptop to connect to the Wi-Fi network "Fronius_XXXXX" (password: 12345678).
Open a browser and go to 192.168.250.181.
Log in - use the login details that the installer has given to you.
Go to Network Settings - Wi-Fi and select your home network.
Enter your Wi-Fi password and save the settings.
Reconnect to Solar.web
Open Fronius Solar.web.
Log in with your account.
Go to Settings - Components and check if your inverter is listed.
If it's offline, click Reconnect or Add New Component.
Follow the on-screen instructions to re-register.
If you have a new router installed, please ensure that the router is set to 2.4GHz and not 5.0GHz.
The Fronius inverter will only communicate with 2.4GHz.
If the inverter is still not connected:
Restart the Inverter (yes, sometimes a simple reboot is all it needs)
Turn off the inverter using the shutdown procedure
Wait 5 minutes and turn it back on in the opposite order to your shutdown procedure.
Check if the connection is restored.
Check for Firmware Updates
If issues persist, update the inverter firmware via Solar.web.
Please call us if you have any problems with this and we can help you.
When you are OFFLINE your solar is still working. It is the reporting via solar web
that we need to reconnect.
